ReplyDeleteIn 2004, I knew the Aucklanders who had a meteor land on their couch! It was about twenty five centimetres long and twelve centimetres wide. It hurtled through their roof at about 300km/hr, and landed in their living room. It was very lucky that noone was sitting on the couch at the time!! The story was reported on the news.
