Lucas Dad Story!

English: Today Lucas dad came in class can us told a story. It was named How the fox tricked the bear.

Romanian: Astăzi, tatăl Lukas a intrat în clasă, ne poate spune o poveste. A fost numită Cum vulpea a păcălit ursul.

English: He told it in a different version than I have read! I liked his version more that the one I have read.

Romanian: El mi-a spus într-o versiune diferită de cea pe care am citit-o! Mi-a plăcut versiunea mai multă decât cea pe care am citit-o.

English: The story was also longer than the one I read. I hope that the rest of the class liked the story as well!

Romanian:  Povestea a fost, de asemenea, mai lungă decât cea pe care am citit-o. Sper că restul clasei a plăcut și povestea!

The Game We played.

English: After the assembly, Hamida taught us lape.

Samoan: Ina ua maea le fonotaga, sa aoao mai i matou e Hamida.

English: The game was technically just like soft ball, but without a bat. You used your hand instead of a bat.

Samoan: O le taaloga e masani lava e pei o le polo vaivai, ae leai se paʻu. Sa e faʻaaoga lou lima ae le o se pati.

English: We used a soft ball in stead of softball so it did not hurt our hands!

Samoan: Sa matou faʻaaogaina se polo vaivai i le mea o loʻo fai ai le sogasolo ina ia le afaina o matou lima!

English: The bad thing was that we didn't get to finish the hole game.

Samoan: O le mea leaga o le le mafai lea ona matou faamaea le taaloga pu

The Feast!

The most important part of Cultural Unity Day at Owairaka is the feast. It is because other kids can try food from other continents and like them or not. I loved all the food I ate, the problem was I was really full.
